I purchased this ring and the matching necklace for my great niece's ninth birthday. She was thrilled! The cut and color of the stones are beautiful and the size is perfect for a young lady. Both ring and necklace were an excellent buy and well worth the purchase price. I would recommend this for anyone buying jewelry for a girl ages 8-13. The ring would probably be too small for anyone older.

the stone is absolutely breath taking.. perfect shade of blue and very translucent.. i just got mine for the holiday.. only thing is the band is a bit more narrow then i would have liked, but it is a great ring!! a white gold or silver band would accompany the ring well.. the stone itself is very substantial!!!
